Wait

Waiting is so hard for me. I will go 3 blocks out of my way just to avoid a potential red light that will stop me from moving forward. So naturally waiting on God for me is even harder.

The Bible says, “They that _________ upon the Lord shall _________ their strength.” (Isaiah 40:31) We all need to sit and let God renew us.

When was the last time you just sat and waited in the presence of God? The Bible says, “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

Let’s just sit a minute and wait upon God. Sit and remember all the miracles He has performed in your life.

The woman with the issue of blood waited 12 years. How long have you waited? How desperate are you?

Psalm 62:5-6 in the Message Bible says “God, the one and only - I'll wait as long as He says. Everything I hope for comes from Him, so why not? He's solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul, an impregnable castle: I'm set for life.”

Do not give up. Take time to sit and wait with Jesus today. Let Him speak life and hope into you today.

Use every second of the wait you are in to allow the father to increase your faith and deepen your trust.

Sit so close that when He finally says “Now”, He’ll only have to whisper.
