Believe

Believing God was the first Beth Moore study that I completed and God wrote it on my heart.

I have had to believe God for many things. My daughter and son-in-law left to go live in another country for 3 years. I had to believe God will protect and take care of them. I had to believe God when my sister’s husband was killed. I had to believe God knew what He was doing, that His way is perfect. I have to believe God for my unsaved family members.

Sometimes it is easier to believe God for big things and not the things we can control.

Whenever someone comes to me to believe God for a miracle they need, I have all the answers, BUT when it’s for me, I can doubt God.

Do you ever feel that way? When I feel this way I have to take a deep look into my heart and see why I am not believing for myself. Is this you?

Now I want you to ask God to help you with your unbelief for yourself and pray and ask like you are believing for someone else.

Father, I am asking you to help me believe for _________________. Forgive me for not believing you for all my needs. I thank you and I trust you. Amen.

“Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness.” (Romans 4:3)

During our study of Believing God we had to memorize the following and I still say it and believe it today:

God is what He says He is!

God can do what He says He can do!

I am who God says I am!

I can do all things through Christ!

God’s Word is alive and active in me!

I’m believing God!!!

Say it, memorize it, and ask God to write it on your heart.

Believe God for miracles!!!
