Day 4

Recognize

When you look in the mirror, you recognize that it’s a good hair day. You recognize who is standing behind you giving you a morning hug. The reflection is as beautiful as the person looking into the mirror. As you pursue God, it becomes easier to recognize what He is doing because we are looking into the mirror of His Word. He is beautiful and you are taking on more of His likeness.

We all have different ringtones for people on our hot list so we know if we want to answer the phone. As we draw closer to God, when we hear “How Great is Our God” playing, we will drop everything to talk to Him. We recognize it’s our best friend – Jesus. He is thinking about us. What an eye opener. He never stops thinking about us – 24/7/365. Psalm 139:17-18 puts it this way: “How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly! I can’t even count how many times a day your thoughts turn towards me. And when I waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!” (TLB)

How He has changed you already. It has only been three days. You can say, “God has heard my prayer and He has answered _________(you know) _________.” Wait until next week when you pray for your family and reach out to your friends. Recognize that God is preparing you today for greater miracles ahead.

Limits and bounds do not define God and do not hold Him. Recognize how God loves you, how BIG He is, how much He wants to bless you.

Recognize God!!!
