If you will step out in faith,
I will meet you in your every need.
I will never leave you or forsake you.
There may be times when it appears
as if I have forgotten you,
but that will never happen.
I may have you in a place of training.
I may be building your faith.
I may be working on your patience.
Be assured, I am perfecting you
for the future representation of Jesus.
Step out whenever I call you.
You need not know every step along the way.
I will give you each place for your feet,
but only as you need the next step.
It is My pleasure to provide a safe path for you
while you learn.
2 Cor. 7 The Message Bible " ...but that you were jarred into turning things around. You let the distress bring you to God, not drive you from him. The result was all gain, no loss. Distress that drives us to God does that. It turns us around. It gets us back in the way of salvation. We never regret that kind of pain. But those who let distress drive them away from God are full of regrets, end up on a deathbed of regrets. And now, isn't it wonderful all the ways in which this distress has goaded you closer to God?"
Hebrews 11:6 NIV "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that He exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him."
I don't know if I'll ever get used to having a faith walk. My Father has been so faithful countless times and to this day, when things get tough, I sometimes lose faith. Over the years, the Lord has taught our family to rely on His faithfulness, not on our ability to grunt our puny faith into existence. That understanding has helped me to weather the many storms that the Lord has seen us through.
It's Your faithfulness Lord, not my ability to have faith - Jim Corbett
