Day 2

Recall

Today when you pray, recall to God who He is. Yesterday you renewed your heart, which we should do daily. The Word says, “Create in me a pure heart, O Lord.” (Psalm 51:10)

Today we will remind or recall to God who He is. Daniel 9:4 says, “I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of love with all who love Him and obey His commands.” In verse 7 and 14 of the same chapter, Daniel recalls God’s righteousness – that He is just and fair and equitable in all He does. Daniel was praying in line with who God is, not with his opinions, struggles, or wants.

Who is God to you? Tell him He is your healer, your savior, your help in time of need, redeemer, and friend. Tell Him there is none like Him. God loves the praises of his people.

Remember, The Word says, “He hears my voice.” (Psalm 116:1)
